Using the calculator

TwoCut Tools provides this calculator and its worked examples for general project planning. You may use it without an account and print its output for your own project. Enter actual dimensions and verify the roll label before ordering.

Accuracy and project decisions

The formulas budget whole vertical drops. Pattern matching, trim, selected spares, and the chosen opening mode affect the estimate. Equal cut lengths share a roll pool; different lengths are budgeted separately. Half-drop is modeled by adding half a repeat after rounding the base cut to a whole repeat. Area credits assume short-piece reuse and do not certify a usable seam layout.

Check results against your wall and manufacturer instructions before buying or cutting. The tool does not design structural work, certify an installation, or guarantee that every offcut can be reused. Dollar estimates use your entered price and exclude tax, shipping, adhesive, tools, and labor.
